Question of the Day:

If people who read books on paper are called bookworms, then are people who
listen to cassette books called tapeworms?

Listen Up!

Audio books are considered to be the fastest-growing segment in the publishing industry, growing 75 percent since 1995 and representing $2 billion in annual sales, according to the Audio Publishers Association (APA).

Clyde's Page

Clyde is the VP of Sales here at Audiotome. Please don't let the fact that he is a sock monkey keep you from sending him e-mail. He's an e-mail junky. He's a sock of the world and has numerous adventures to talk about; working on professional fireworks crews, traveling to book sales, dodging storm surges from hurricanes and trying not to get buried in snow drifts.

Q&A

Q: So what's on the play list currently?

A: We are definitely digging "The Reduced Shakespeare Company" Radio Show. Especially made for people who want grown up humor but have the attention span of a flea.

Washington Schlepped Here by Christopher Buckley BOT#6217. I am originally from Washington DC (ok, the MD suburbs but close enough) and thought I knew a whole lot about this fair city. Wrong! This book is short  but delightful and narrated by Grover Garner, my favorite narrator.

Q: How is the family?

A. Carin acquired two more sock monkeys over Christmas. Then Micky and Clarence had a sock monkey baby in April and now our happy party is now 8. I think I am done acquiring sock monkey relatives for the time being, they eat too much food and steal my clothes.

Q: So why should someone buy from Audio To Me?

A: Anyone who is looking for a bargain should not hesitate to contact us. The more books we mail out of here the more sock monkey clothes I get. We sell ex-library/used stuff but that doesn't mean it's junk. We carefully check the tapes for problems (I hold them up to my ears and she puts them in a tape player) and then we clean up the cases so that you receive an attractive item. When was the last time another online seller did that? Everything is guaranteed. So spend with confidence. Any playability problems are taken care of with lightning speed and you will never leave here feeling like you got the short end of the stick.
